In response to the COVID-19 crisis, VEAP is changing its food distribution model to a drive-up system starting Monday, March 23. The safety and well-being of our participants, staff and volunteers is our top priority as we work hard to continue to provide food and social service programs to the people who look to us for support. With this drive-up model we will be adhering to the “6-feet social distancing” recommendations as well as other safety precautions.
Our lobby will be closed from March 26 through April 6, at which time we will reassess its closure. We will continue to depend on our call-ahead appointment system for food distribution and will only be able to reserve a small number of appointments each day for new participants or people who didn’t make an appointment.
If you would like to talk to someone about our non-food programs, please call 952.888.9616 ext. 133. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
