POSITION TITLE: Accounting Administrative Assistant
TYPE: Full Time | Non-exempt | Temporary
REPORTS TO: Primary Supervisor – Social Services Director
Secondary Supervisor – Finance Manager
SALARY: $39,120 – 43,123 annually

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Provide accounting/financial and administrative support to Social Services department staff members and Finance Manager.
-Input financial assistance vouchers into client database
-Handle and organize rental assistance checks for landlords
-Organize files and ensure documents are in order for audit purposes
-Call vendors to complete appropriate tax forms
-Call participants to notify of financial approval and to inform of payment process
-Reconcile financial and client records spreadsheets
-Assist with others accounting/financial tasks, as needed
-Input services into client database
-Receive and sort mail
-Shred outdated files
-Copy and/or scan critical documents
-Mail and email rental assistance paperwork, surveys, and resources to participants
-Log voicemail messages
-Assist with others general office tasks, as needed
-Associate’s degree in related field with work experience
-Previous client database experience a plus
-High proficiency in typing and computer skills
-Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
-Basic mathematical skills
-Experience handling sensitive and confidential data
-Strong customer service experience
-Attention to detail
-Ability to follow directions and ask questions when clarity is needed
-Ability to work independently
-Clear communicator both written and verbal
-Must be in the office (not a remote working position)
-Experience with office equipment such as copier (fax and scanner)
