VEAP is now looking for an independent contractor to serve as project manager for ClientTrack database implementation process. Learn more about this opportunity to support our dynamic team.
Expected Duration: September 1, 2020 – January 31, 2021. 20-25 hours per week during implementation process. Combination of on-site and remote responsibilities.
Services: The Independent Contractor will be engaged in services for VEAP. During the term of the contract agreement, Independent Contractor will perform and complete the following tasks and deliverables for VEAP in collaboration with the Metropolitan Alliance of Connected Communities (MACC):
1. Act as internal project manager for database system build: schedule meetings, coordinate applicable staff, communicate with staff and management, point person for MACC partnership, handle staff/project accountability, consult, and create and update organization ClientTrack database policies and procedures.
2. Attend kick off and implementation meetings.
3. Conduct full life cycle analysis for organizational data in consultation with key staff users.
4. Set up and organize current database system architecture.
5. Direct integration and offer recommendations for system development and use.
6. Attend and support MACC Administrator training sessions.
7. Train and assist end users, VEAP staff, and volunteers, in high-integrity use of ClientTrack system.
8. Provide training materials to VEAP.
9. Act as liaison between VEAP and MACC Data and Evaluation team.
10. Develop ClientTrack reports for grant/contract compliance and internal documentation and presentations.
11. Perform and monitor data quality audits during system conversion.
Ideal candidate profile:
-High relational database IQ, previous experience with ClientTrack preferred
-Experience in developing and delivering database utilization training materials
-Inquisitive learner with ability to quickly familiarize self with organization and use/needs of database
-Excellent communication and listening skills
-Creative and innovative problem solver who can identify solutions and integrate in systems and training
-Ability to motivate and lead staff and volunteers to embrace change and train staff and volunteers with differing levels of experience with relational databases
-Previous experience in quantitative evaluation
-Non-profit experience
