For many of us, it’s the time of year for
happy gatherings, warm homes and
delicious, bountiful meals; we all look
forward to this time of year to be with our
families and enjoy the season. There’s just
something about being together and surrounded
by blessings.
But there are countless individuals and families
in our community that aren’t able to share this
same holiday experience. People who come
to VEAP for food pantry visits, resources for
housing and other supports needed are often
short on time and money around the holiday
season. Most clients we see are working one or
two jobs, but wages aren’t sufficient to make
ends meet each month.
