VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People) is a basic needs and social service organization whose programs provide access to healthy foods, social services and transportation for residents of Bloomington, Richfield, Edina, and a portion of south Minneapolis. VEAP is a trusted partner, establishing connections and developing confidence for clients facing financial uncertainty. Through the use of 3,100 volunteers, VEAP unites neighbors around a common goal of building stronger, more hopeful, communities.
VEAP is seeking an individual with a passion for working for a mission-based organization; strong bilingual Spanish communications skills – verbal, written and interpersonal; excellent problem solving and time management; high level attention to details and self-motivated to coordinate day-to-day volunteers and their schedules.
The Volunteer Coordinator will work managing multiple projects and deadlines and work with sensitive and confidential matters; and will also have proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products. Experience with volunteer tracking/scheduling software preferred.
