Nearly 40% of the 25,000 families who visit VEAP every year have children at home, many of them with babies. While VEAP is able to buy most food at a discounted rate from our food bank partners, we are not able to procure baby formula or diapers from these sources. As such, 100% of the baby products we offer at the food pantry are thanks to our kind donors.
Baby formula and diapers are always in high-demand, and we can only offer these products to our visitors when we have them on hand. If you’re considering an impactful way to give back this season, please consider holding a formula & diaper drive! We’re specifically seeking diapers of any size (newborn to pull-ups) as well as non-expired baby formula. We also accept baby products like wipes and canned food. Please note we cannot accept medicine (like children’s Tylenol, etc.) at this time.
