  • Food Pantry: Our pantry roles include creating a positive shopping experience for all by assisting with the shopping process, fulfilling food orders, helping shoppers load their groceries into their vehicles, and sorting through food donations so we can ensure only the best items make it onto our shelves.
  • Mobile Pantry Services: Our Van Driver and Mobile Pantry Assistant teams provide Home Delivery, food distribution/drop off at Site Partner facilities (Mobile Sites), and pickup food donations from local area grocery stores (Courier).
  • Participant Intake: Our intake roles include scheduling food appointments (Phone) and checking in participants for in-person shopping appointments (Lobby) as well as our drive-thru appointments on Fridays (Drive-Thru).
  • Support Services: Our admin roles currently are helping to manage our reception desk at our volunteer entrance by greeting volunteers, refilling coffee & snacks, and assisting on any administrative projects that may come up.

VEAP conducts annual criminal background checks for all adult volunteers (18+) via the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Certain convictions and false statements will disqualify applicants. VEAP does not accept court-ordered community service.
