Right now, families in our community are making impossible choices every day. They’re choosing between groceries and medication, between paying rent and feeding their children. Many are visiting a food pantry for the first time because groceries simply cost more than their paycheck can stretch.
Even with SNAP benefits restored and incredible community generosity, families are still struggling. Food prices remain high, federal nutrition program cuts continue, and more neighbors than ever are relying on VEAP.
