Help us make sure local children keep reading throughout the year! Did you know VEAP’s Food Pantry is also home to a small bookshelf for young ones visiting our pantry? VEAP’s volunteers have distributed reading materials to children whose families are receiving food. But our book supply is now running low!
We’re now looking for new or gently-used children’s books (specifically board books) to pass along to kids in our community. As many different families utilize our services, please refrain from donating faith-based books. Books in English and Spanish are especially welcome!
To drop off reading items, please visit Door 4 behind our building (Donation drop-off) anytime Monday – Thursday from 9:00 – 4:30 p.m., or Friday from 9:00 a.m.-noon. If you’d like to purchase online and mail right to VEAP, please send to 9600 Aldrich Avenue South, Bloomington, MN 55420.
Thanks for supporting little ones visiting our food pantry!
