Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community during VEAP’s March Food & Fund Drive and Minnesota’s FoodShare Month, VEAP raised $389,209.14—surpassing our $300,000 goal—and collected 58,862 pounds of food to help meet growing community need. Contributions from individuals, organizations, faith communities, and businesses also helped us meet our $100,000 matching gift challenge from two local families. Thank you for helping neighbors navigate high grocery costs, reduced SNAP benefits, and ongoing financial hardship with dignity and support.

Join VEAP in the Minnesota FoodShare Campaign — a statewide spring effort uniting community organizations, businesses, and faith groups to stock nearly 300 food shelves, including VEAP’s.

More than 596,000 Minnesotans are struggling with hunger, and nearly one third are children. Grocery prices remain high. SNAP benefits have been reduced. And for families who have recently lost months of income, catching up feels impossible.
